Andrew Ybarra

owner & Daily operator

Andrew Ybarra is the owner and daily operator of Flying Jewel Painting (FJP). Over the course of two-plus decades, FJP has developed & strategized reliable worksite systems that our crews use on every project, to plan and sequence all painting tasks and equipment use.

Andrew also has a background in movement education and ergonomics based in Rolfing Structural Integration and Occupational Therapy. These skills are useful and relevant when assisting painters with the moving and situating of everyday equipment. Task analysis is an daily assessment tool used to break down the manual movement and mental aspects of common on- site job tasks. These methods often lead to improving a worker’s efficiency of labor output and greater attention to detail, which is ultimately supportive of our shared goal . . . quality craftsmanship!
